Kim has been training horses for over 17 years and has owned horses for over 18 years. She started showing arabians and national show horses and competed in everything from hunter pleasure, western, show hack, country english pleasure to trail. She then focused mainly on dressage and has been showing successfully in dressage for the past 15 years. She has been fortunate enough to have great dressage instructors along the way including Dinny Falkenburg an FEI instructor. Dinny has had the biggest impact on Kim’s dressage career teaching her the importance of correct rider position and improving the connection between horse and rider.

Kim graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelor of Science degree in equine science. She then accepted a position as Assistant Trainer at Cloverlea Dressage with Jennifer and Beth Baumert in Connecticut. There she acquired more experience with upper level horses. She then moved back to Colorado to pursue her career as head trainer with Autumn Breeze Training. She also continued her education and received an AAS degree in Veterinary Technology. She passed the national board exam to become a Certified Veterinary Technician.

Kim is now the Manager/Trainer of a quarter horse breeding farm. The focus is on breeding outstanding quarter horses for the purpose of performance events including: reining, cutting, roping and cow horse. All horses come from foundation lines.
